Inside of the grounds, the monument of Shigeyoshi Mouri, who was called "the founder of the Mathematics in Japan" is stood. Shigeyoshi invented the division by abacus when he came back from studying in China (Min era), therefore an "abacus memorial service" is held in August every year. |
