The main shrine is designed "Shinmei-tsukuri" style, and as it is cited in an old Japanese history book "Nihon-Shoki", this one is a historic shrine. KOBANOMITSUBA-TSUTSUJI (kind of azalea) that is grown wildly in the grounds is appointed as a natural monument and is presumed 20,000 roots in total. It blooms beautiful flowers in every Spring, and changes the whole Hirota's hill azalea-red color. | |
