| Because Ebisu-sama arrived in Nishinomiya and was later enshrined at Nishinomiya Jinja Shrine, the stone monument of the "Traditional Place of Okoshi-ya" was built in the town of Hon-machi. On June 14 every year, the Okoshi-ya Festival is held. During the festival, people carry a "mikoshi" (miniature mobile shrine) which Ebisu-sama decorated with a biwa guitar on it, from Nishinomiya Jinja Shrine to the Traditional Place of Okoshi-ya. |
