The museum opened in July, 1985, to exhibit the history and culture of Nishinomiya from ancient times to today. You can learn the history while enjoying interesting exhibitions such as reconstructed models of Tarukaisen (a boat to deliver sake barrels), a landscape of the Namaze area, and a diorama of a "washi" paper-making factory in Najio. Admission is free. Nishinomiya City Museum
