A Sight seeing spot of Nishinomiya | Nishinomiya Tourism Association

It was created in 1866, when the Edo era was about to come to an end, by the battle ship magistrate Kaisyu Katsu to prevent the invasion of the Black Ship. Although it was completed, the Meiji revolution broke out soon after, therefore it was never used. It's a large building with 12 meters in height and 53 meters around. It is also stated as one of important cultural properties by the nation.
